London, United Kingdom, Europe
With a world-class collection and display of aircraft, integrated with special exhibitions, films, interactives, artwork, engines, missiles, photographs, medals and uniforms and research and education facilities, the Museum takes an innovative approach to telling these stories whilst keeping with tradition.
From 3 October 2016 the Battle of Britain and Sunderland Halls will be closed. Our Milestones of Flight gallery will be closed from 16 October 2017. Both Halls will reopen in summer 2018 with three new permanent exhibitions located in them.
All our other galleries remain open for a great day out and the Museum welcomes visitors throughout the year. Our staff and volunteers are here to help you have a great time as well as making sure that you are safe while you are with us.
